VidMate 2017

Builds 2.62 to 3.35 · Android 2.2 to 4.0

Is an Old VidMate Version Safe? (Purana Wala VidMate)

No fixes. Security and stability patches only ship in new versions. A 2018 build has eight years of unfixed issues.
Repackaged files. "VidMate old version" is a popular label for modified APKs. Searches such as "vidmate old virus download" exist because people installed one. The older the version, the fewer places still host a clean copy.

"Asali vidmate" (the genuine one) and "purana vidmate" (the old one) are not the same thing. Age does not make a file genuine; the package name and signature do.

How to Install an Old VidMate Version

Back up your downloads. Saved videos live in the VidMate folder on internal storage and usually survive an uninstall. Copy them anyway.
Uninstall the newer VidMate. Android does not allow installing a lower version over a higher one. Skipping this step is the usual cause of "app not installed".

Any 5.x build. The last ones, 5.3241 (June 2025) and 5.3431 (September 2025), list Android 4.3 as their minimum and still work with most sites. The 6.x line requires Android 5.0.
